Buying just a few books? We encourage you to purchase from your favorite local or online bookstore. (We prefer making books to shipping them, to tell the truth!) If you opt to purchase books directly from us, we’ll have them shipped directly from the printer. The following shipping rates apply:
Standard shipping (allow about 5-9 days): $8
Rush shipping (3-4 days): $25
International (shipping time varies): $25
We’re able to ship to most places globally in under two weeks.
Free shipping: On orders of $100 or more
Booksellers and institutions

Digital downloads should initiate automatically once you complete your purchase. Problems? Find your downloads in your account, or contact us for help.
Our returns policy is as follows:
- You may return any books purchased from us within 45 days of the date of purchase (the date you placed your order) for a full refund, provided the books are in “like new” condition.
- Sorry, returns are not possible for electronic downloads.
To make a return:
- Contact us by e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org to let us know you’re returning your order. Put the words book refund in the subject header.
- We’ll provide a full refund by reversing the charge to your credit card, or, if you paid by check, by issuing you a check.
- Box the books up and mail them to the address listed below, using the mailing service of your choice. You will need to pay the return shipping charge. U.S. Postal Service Media Mail will usually offer the most affordable method of returning your books.

Canceling an order
Orders may be canceled and a full refund issued up to two hours after being placed.
If you created a customer account with us, you may cancel your order by logging into your account. If you ordered as a guest, please send an e-mail to email@example.com, placing the words cancel order in the subject header.
